We've been on 'The Road' since May 2013. We started in India for a couple of months followed by Nepal for a couple more. We trekked, abseiled, hitchhiked, cycled and kayaked our way around that part of Asia for about half a year.
Like migratory birds with bad navigation skills, we headed to Europe for the Winter, safely escaping the mild temperatures of India and Nepal in November.
We landed in Eastern Europe in the middle of November and swapped our salwar kameez and flip-flops for insulated base layers and hastily bought gloves and scarves.
We've substituted the samosas and chai for mulled wine and sausages, the sweltering heat for the bitter cold.
We'll be heading into Western Europe, and follow our noses to many more Christmas markets, museums and old town squares.
